About
Built in Lisbon, backed by transparency
CoFunders is reward crowdfunding on a public network. Pledges are held by a program until a campaign reaches its goal, and unlocked for backers to take back if it does not.
What CoFunders is
CoFunders is a reward crowdfunding platform. Creators publish campaigns for products they want to build, and backers pledge money so those products get made. In return, backers receive the product or perk the creator offers — not equity, not profit sharing, not a financial return.
Every pledge is held by a program on a public network until the campaign reaches its goal. If it does, the creator receives the funds and starts building. If it does not, every backer reclaims their escrowed pledge; fees paid at pledge time are not returned. The ledger is public: anyone can verify the balance at any time.
Where we are
CoFunders is based in Lisbon, Portugal. Our registered address is Av. Rovisco Pais 1, 1049-001 Lisboa. You can reach us at support@cofunders.org.
Why we built it
Most crowdfunding platforms take your money the moment you pledge, hold it in a private account, and trust you to trust them. We wanted the opposite: pledges held in a program anyone can read, refunds that happen automatically, and a fee structure that is public before you pledge a cent.
The platform is free to join. A percentage fee applies per pledge — see the Pricing page for the exact numbers. There is no subscription, no lock-in, and no hidden cost.
How it works
A creator publishes a campaign with a funding goal and a deadline. Backers pledge in stablecoins (USDC or EURC), which are designed to hold the value of a dollar or a euro. The pledge sits in an on-chain escrow until the deadline.
If the campaign reaches its goal, the funds are released to the creator. If it does not, every pledge is returned. The creator then builds and ships the reward. CoFunders is not a shop — delivery is the creator's responsibility.
