Accessibility

Accessible by design

Everyone who can use the web should be able to use CoFunders. Here is what we do to make that true, and how to tell us when it is not.

Our commitment

CoFunders is committed to making its platform accessible to everyone, including people who rely on screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification and other assistive technologies.

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. Where we fall short, we want to know — write to support@cofunders.org so we can fix it.

What we do

All interactive elements have a minimum touch target of 44 pixels. Colour contrast meets the 4.5:1 ratio for normal text and 3:1 for large text. Every image carries alt text, and purely decorative elements are hidden from assistive technology.

The platform is fully navigable by keyboard. Focus indicators are visible and follow a logical order. Animations respect the prefers-reduced-motion setting and are paused or removed when it is active.

Known limitations

Some third-party content embedded in campaign pages (videos, external widgets) may not meet our accessibility standards. We work with creators to encourage accessible content, but we cannot guarantee it.

Feedback

If you encounter a barrier on CoFunders, please let us know. Write to support@cofunders.org with a description of the problem, the page it happened on and the assistive technology you are using. We take every report seriously and aim to respond within five working days.
