How people get paid here
Four ways, none of which require backing anything. Every rate below comes from the contract, and what you actually receive depends on what the people you bring in decide to do.
How you can make $50 right now
The onboarding reward is the one route on this page with a figure rather than a rate: $50, once, paid after a person on our team has checked everything. It is earned by doing all seven steps and by bringing ten people who do theirs.
- Add at least 20 to your account, in euros or dollars.
- Back a campaign with at least 5.
- Create a campaign of your own and publish it.
- Open the app, signed in, every day for seven days in a row. The day is marked for you.
- Publish a short video about CoFunders on Instagram and on TikTok, both public, and paste the two links on the Earn 50 screen.
- Invite ten people who each create a campaign and back one with 5. Signing up is not enough; each of them has to do it.
- Finish the education course, every section and the questions at the end of each.
The ten people are worth more than the reward. Each one pays you from the day they join, on everything they do, for as long as they keep using CoFunders: 0.75% of every pledge they make, which is half of our 1.5% fee; a tenth of all the fee revenue they generate; and 20 every time one of them generates another 50 of revenue. That is per friend, so it starts with the first one, and it is on top of the $50.
Every step has a shortcut on the Earn 50 screen in the app, and when all seven are done its claim button turns on. A person reviews the claim within a few days. It is paid once, only when every step and every one of the ten is complete, and we can refuse a claim for any reason, including a video that does not meet our standards. Nothing here is owed until it has been approved.
Invite a friend
Every account has a referral code. When someone signs up with it and backs a project, the platform fee on that pledge is split down the middle and half of it goes to you. It keeps paying for as long as they keep backing; there is no expiry and no cap on how many people you invite.
The fee on the free plan is 1.5% of a pledge, so your half is 0.75%. On a 100 euro pledge that is 75 cents, paid on chain in the same transaction as the pledge, into your own wallet. Small per pledge, and it adds up only if the people you bring in actually back things.

Referral milestones
As the people you invited generate fees, you cross milestones that pay a bonus on top of your half. There are four steps, the rate climbs with each one, and there is no cap on how far you go. Claims are reviewed and paid out within a few days.
Raise money for your own project
The most direct way to get paid here is to be the creator. Publish a campaign with a goal and a deadline; if it reaches the goal you claim the funds and keep the overwhelming majority of every pledge, and if it does not, every backer reclaims their own pledge and nothing is owed to anyone.
The fee on each pledge is 1.5% on the free plan and lower on a paid one, and launching costs a small flat fee that also drops with a plan. The Pricing page has every number.
What this is not
It is not income you can plan on. Every figure above is a rate on money other people decide to pledge, and nobody, including us, can tell you how much that is going to be. The rates are taken from the contract itself and are the ceilings, not averages.
It is also not a way to move money you do not have: nothing here requires you to back anything, deposit anything, or buy anything. Looking around, inviting, and sharing are free.
